Invisalign Orthodontics

invisalign

What is it?

Forget unsightly braces! Invisalign is an invisible way to straighten teeth without metal or wires, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth.

How does it work?

With the aid of 3-D computer imaging technology, Invisalign maps out a complete treatment plan, including a series of custom-made, clear aligners created specifically for you. These aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable BPA-free plastic that won’t irritate your cheeks and gums. Simply wear them throughout the day, and remove them when you eat or to brush and floss your teeth, and your teeth will gently and gradually shift into place.

How long does it take?

You wear a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks. To monitor your progress, you will have occasional checkups (usually only every six weeks or so). Treatment typically takes a year for adults. For teens, the length of treatment is comparable to that of braces. But, since your teeth aren’t covered by wires, you’ll be able to see improvement much sooner.
